Stober’s ServoFit Helical Gearboxes

These three helical options often provide a lower cost more adaptable solution than the planetary options but still offer the same style motor plates used on their planetary gearboxes. In many cases they offer a significate noise reduction over planetary units along with a cooler operating temperature. Many applications do not require the 2-3 arcminute backlash of a high precision planetary gearbox. Backlash depends on the style of gearbox but some can be obtained as low as 6 arcminutes backlash. They can be adapted to almost any food processing environment and have a stainless option (KSS) for their right angle offering.
Helical offerings: The C-Series (Inline Helical) offers 4 mounting styles, including foot mount, round/square flange and a tapped hole option. The F-Series (Helical Offset) offers flanged, tapped hole and foot mount but also provides a shrink ring & wobble free options to clamp on to shafts. The K series (RA Helical) has the same options as the other units but in addition to single or dual shaft output also provides a through bore, shrink ring and wobble free bushing option in conjunction with a torque arm bracket.
